Stop Drifting. Start Choosing.
Your head is full of thoughts that go nowhere. You know something needs to change. You just can’t quite name what, or where to start. That’s usually where we begin.
I work with professionals navigating a career transition, people who’ve built a successful life that no longer feels quite like theirs, and expats in Amsterdam and across Europe trying to find their footing after a big move.
Most people who come to me think their problem is work. Or a decision they can’t make. Or not knowing what they want.
And sometimes it is. But usually, when we slow down and look deeply, it’s something underneath: a gap between who they are and how they’re actually living.
They’ve been moving forward, taking jobs, making choices, building a life, without really stopping to ask whether any of it was what they actually wanted. Not out of anything they did wrong. Just because no one ever really showed them how to do that.
That’s what coaching is for.
Together, we untangle what’s actually going on. Not by me telling you what to do, but by asking better questions until you can see it yourself. And once you can see it clearly, the path forward becomes less confusing, your choices start feeling more like yours, and you begin moving with intention rather than just momentum.
It is a process. It takes honesty. And it works.
This is mindset and life coaching, based in Amsterdam, offered online and in person, in English and Portuguese.

I spent over a decade in corporate, working across multiple countries and industries. The kind of career that looked very clear from the outside.
At some point I realised I’d been building it on autopilot. Not because I was unhappy. I was actually good at it and made it all the way to director. But I’d never really stopped to ask myself what I actually wanted. I was reacting, not choosing.
Figuring that out changed how I work, how I live, and eventually what I do for a living.
I’ve been based in Amsterdam for several years now, and I coach in English and Portuguese. Mostly people navigating the particular disorientation that comes with expat life, a significant career change, or simply the feeling that somewhere along the way, they stopped recognising themselves in their own life.
What I bring is not a method or a framework. It’s the ability to sit with you in the confusion, ask the right questions, and help you find your own clarity. Because I’ve had to find mine too.
If you’re looking for an English-speaking life or mindset coach in Amsterdam or elsewhere in Europe, whether in person or online, you’re in the right place.

“Through his thoughtful questions and presence, I gained more clarity on what I wanted going forward and found the courage to take steps towards it. Since then, I’ve made both a career change and moved to Barcelona. And I feel much more aligned with my values and who I truly am.”

“Leo’s approach is serene, compassionate and authentic. It feels safe to open up and share. Our conversations help me to reconnect with myself and create space for a more positive mindset. And he is practical too, supporting me on how to act and move forward with intention.”

“I reached out to Leo in a period of no clarity and deep demotivation. I didn’t want to think I was in burnout, but he helped me become aware of it, and that awareness was the real turning point. With his guidance, I understood the causes and found concrete steps to move forward.”
If you’re not sure whether coaching is for you, that’s a completely normal place to start. The free call is a conversation, not a commitment. We talk, you get a feel for how I work, and you decide from there.
Absolutely. This is one of the most common reasons people come to me.
Feeling lost is common. You might feel unclear, frustrated that you “should” know things by now, trapped between what you want and what others expect, or just unmotivated because there’s no compelling vision.
Here’s what we do: we use discovery exercises and powerful questions to help you get clear on what you actually want (not what you think you should want), your values, your strengths, and what would feel meaningful to you.
Often, people already know deep down. They just need permission, clarity, and someone to help them see it.
By the end of our first session, you’ll have more clarity than you do right now. And after a few sessions, you’ll have a clear vision and roadmap.
They’re both valuable, just different.
Therapy focuses on healing from the past: trauma, mental health conditions, emotional wounds. Therapists are licensed to diagnose and treat clinical issues. It’s often long-term and exploratory.
Coaching focuses on assessing where you are and building your future: goals, growth, becoming who you want to be. It’s action-oriented and typically shorter-term. Coaches are not licensed to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
When to choose therapy: You’re dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, or other mental health struggles. You need healing and clinical support.
When to choose coaching: You’re generally stable but feel stuck. You have goals but don’t know how to reach them. You want to shift limiting beliefs and accelerate your growth.
Many people work with both at the same time. A therapist to heal, a coach to build. They complement each other beautifully.
Not sure? Book a free discovery call with me. We can talk through what you’re experiencing and I’ll honestly tell you if coaching is right or if therapy would be more helpful first. No pressure either way.
Coaching works when these three things are true:
1. You’re honest and willing to be vulnerable. Coaching doesn’t work if you’re hiding things from yourself or not ready to look at what’s real. The more open and honest you are, the faster we move.
2. You’re willing to take action. You can gain all the insights in the world, but nothing changes without action. Trying new things, challenging old beliefs, and acting even when it’s uncomfortable are essential.
3. You genuinely want change. There’s no coaching relationship with someone who doesn’t really want to change. But if you’re ready, if you’ve had enough of feeling stuck, coaching works.
Not sure? Come to a free discovery call. We’ll talk through what you’re experiencing, and I’ll honestly tell you if coaching is right for your situation.
Yes. Completely free. No strings attached.
What’s included: 45 minutes on Zoom, a real conversation about what’s going on in your life, honest feedback about whether coaching is right for you, information about how I work and pricing, and answers to any questions you have.
Why I offer it: You deserve to know if we’re a good fit before committing. I want to make sure coaching is the right approach. Sometimes it’s not. And coaching is a relationship. This call is the beginning of that.
At the end, if it feels right, we discuss next steps. If it doesn’t, we talk about it openly.
There’s genuinely no catch.
