Life Coaching in Amsterdam
I work with people who have built a life, but feel like they haven’t really chosen it.
I’m Leo, a mindset and life coach based in Amsterdam. The question that has driven most of my own life decisions is the same one I work on with clients: is this actually my life, or just the one I ended up with? I coach in English and Portuguese.

Is This You?
Most people who find their way here aren’t in crisis. Sometimes there’s not even a clear problem to name. Life is working. But something underneath doesn’t feel right.
Maybe it’s the feeling of just going through the motions. Or they’ve arrived somewhere they worked hard to reach and the feeling they expected to find wasn’t there. Or they just sense that they’re watching their own life pass by rather than living it.
The days are full. But the direction wasn’t really their choice.
What’s Actually Going On
Most people don’t drift into their lives all at once. It happens gradually. A path that formed, one step at a time, without anyone really stopping to ask where it was leading.
And then at some point, you look up. And what you see around you is a life you arrived at rather than one you chose.
This isn’t failure. It’s just how life works when you’re caught up in the day-to-day. The problem is that a life that wasn’t really chosen eventually feels like it isn’t really yours. Even when everything looks fine from the outside.
The real question isn’t what to change. It’s what you actually want from here. And that question, honestly asked, is harder to answer than most people expect.
How Life Coaching Works
We slow down and look at where you actually are. Not the version you’re supposed to be living. But the real one.
That means asking questions that everyday life tends to crowd out. What actually matters to you. What kind of life would feel genuinely yours. The things you’ve quietly decided aren’t possible for you, without ever really testing whether that’s actually true.
And almost always, there’s more room to move than it looked like from where you were standing.
The question I work on with clients is the same one that drove most of my own life decisions. Is this actually my life, or just the one I ended up with?
I’ve made choices that led somewhere real. And I’m still making them as the journey continues. The point was never to get to the end. It was to start choosing the path.
Life coaching is available in Amsterdam and online across Europe, in English and Portuguese.

What Changes with Life Coaching
People come in feeling like they’re watching their own life rather than living it. What shifts is the relationship with it.
It usually starts with one decision. A real choice, made with full awareness of what it means. Something they can actually stand behind.
And they leave with the feeling of finally being present in their own life. Not just going along. But actually choosing.

How It Works:
Sessions are 60 minutes on Zoom. Most clients find fortnightly works well, though frequency is flexible and we adjust as we go. Between sessions you have access to me by email or message if something comes up.
The starting point is a free 45-minute call. We talk about what’s going on for you and whether this kind of work makes sense. No agenda beyond that. You leave with a clearer head either way.
Investment:
€105 per session, VAT included for individuals. Session packages are also available at a discount.
If this doesn’t fit your situation right now, get in touch. I’m committed to making coaching accessible and happy to explore what’s possible.

If you are ready to start or still have questions, the next step is the free call. No commitment.
The free call is 45 minutes. A real conversation, not a pitch. By the end, you’ll know whether this is the right fit.

FAQ About Life Coaching
Life coaching is a one-to-one process of slowing down and looking honestly at where you are and where you actually want to go. It doesn’t involve diagnosis or treatment. It’s a structured conversation, usually over several weeks or months, designed to help you get clearer on what you want, what’s getting in the way, and what a more intentional version of your life looks like. Sessions are 60 minutes, typically fortnightly, on Zoom or in person in Amsterdam.
Therapy focuses on healing the past, particularly mental health conditions, trauma, or emotional wounds that need clinical support. Life coaching focuses on moving forward. It’s for people who are generally stable but feel stuck, unclear, or ready for a change. A lot of people work with both at the same time. If you’re unsure which fits better, the free call is a good place to find out. I’ll give you an honest answer, even if that means coaching isn’t the right fit right now.
Yes, and this is one of the most common reasons people come to me for life coaching. You don’t need a crisis or a clear agenda to benefit from it. Often the most important work happens when someone has a general sense that something is off but can’t quite name it yet. That vagueness is a starting point, not a barrier. Life coaching helps you slow down enough to figure out what’s actually going on.
Yes. Not knowing what you want is one of the most honest places to start. The question “what do I actually want?” is harder to answer than it sounds, and most people haven’t sat with it long enough to get real about it. Life coaching creates the space and the right questions to get you there. Most people are surprised by how much clarity is available once they actually slow down and look.
