General Terms and Conditions

Leo Bet Coach is a trading name of The Mindset Space.

1. General

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all offers, agreements, and services provided by The Mindset Space (trading as Leo Bet Coach), established in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 98183842.

By booking a session or purchasing a service, the Client (“you”) agrees to these Terms.

2. Services & Disclaimer

  • Nature of Services: We provide mindset and life coaching services to support personal and professional growth. Coaching is a collaborative, thought-provoking process designed to support you in gaining clarity, developing insights, and taking purposeful steps aligned with your own values. We create a safe and non-judgmental space for exploration through deep listening and powerful questioning.
  • No Medical Advice: You explicitly acknowledge that coaching is not therapy, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. It does not diagnose or treat mental health disorders. If you are under the care of a mental health professional, you agree to inform them of your participation in coaching.
  • Results: Participation requires your active involvement. We cannot guarantee specific results, as success depends on your own efforts and implementation.

3. Formation of Agreement

  • General: These Terms apply to your use of our website and the booking of any initial consultations (e.g., Discovery Calls). For these free services, the agreement is formed when you book a session and receive a confirmation.
  • Paid Coaching Services: For paid coaching programs, these Terms serve as a baseline. However, if you sign a separate Coaching Agreement or Proposal, the terms of that specific signed contract will take precedence over these General Terms in the event of any conflict.

4. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

  • EU Statutory Right: As a consumer in the EU, you legally have a 14-day cooling-off period to change your mind and cancel the contract without giving a reason, starting from the day the agreement is made.
  • Waiver for Immediate Start: If you book a session to take place within this 14-day period, you explicitly request us to begin the service immediately and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the session has been fully performed.
  • Refunds on Withdrawal: If you cancel within the 14 days and no sessions have taken place, you will receive a full refund.

5. Rates & Payment

  • Rates: Current rates for sessions and packages are stated on the website or in the specific proposal sent to you.
  • Invoicing: Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are issued after each session.
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Method: Payment must be made via bank transfer to the account number specified on the invoice.
  • Late Payment: If payment is not received by the due date, you are legally in default without further notice. We reserve the right to charge statutory interest (according to Dutch law) and any debt collection costs incurred.
  • VAT (BTW):
    • Consumers (Private Clients): Prices quoted are inclusive of 21% Dutch VAT, unless stated otherwise.
    • Business Clients: Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT (BTW). For business clients located in the EU (but outside the Netherlands) with a valid VAT number, the VAT will be reverse-charged (0%). For business clients outside the EU, VAT is 0% (export of services)

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Client Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the start time free of charge.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time, or failure to attend (“no-show”), will be charged at 100% of the session fee. This fee reflects the time reserved exclusively for you.
  • Coach Cancellation: If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a reschedule or a full refund for that session.

7. Intellectual Property

All coaching materials, frameworks, exercises, and content provided by Leo Bet Coach and/or The Mindset Space remain our intellectual property. You may use them for your personal growth but may not reproduce, resell, or distribute them publicly.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared during sessions as strictly confidential. We will not disclose any information to third parties unless:

  • Required by law.
  • There is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others.
  • You give explicit written consent.

9. Liability

  • To the extent permitted by Dutch law, The Mindset Space is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the services in the 6 months preceding the claim.

10. Applicable Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
